Silkworms are typically 1–8 days old when dispatched and will be very small when they arrive. Their exact size may vary depending on their age and development.

Silkworms require a regular supply of suitable fresh mulberry leaves or silkworm chow, together with a clean, dry and well-ventilated enclosure.

Live silkworm orders are normally dispatched Monday to Wednesday by Express Post to help reduce time spent in transit over weekends. Dispatch may occasionally be delayed when weather or other conditions could place live silkworms at risk.
