100 Baby Silkworms

A larger pack of 100 live baby silkworms, ideal for classrooms, group learning, larger family setups and anyone wanting to observe the silkworm life cycle on a bigger scale.

With a larger group, you can more easily observe differences in growth, feeding behaviour, cocooning and emergence as the silkworms develop.

Silkworms are typically 1–8 days old when dispatched and will be very small when they arrive. Their exact size may vary depending on their age and development.

Silkworms require a regular supply of suitable fresh mulberry leaves or silkworm chow, together with a clean, dry and well-ventilated enclosure.

Because this is a larger group, we recommend using a larger well-ventilated enclosure as the silkworms grow.

Live silkworm orders are normally dispatched Monday to Wednesday by Express Post to help reduce the risk of parcels remaining in transit over a weekend. Dispatch may occasionally be delayed if weather or other conditions could place live silkworms at risk.
